Tauranga Hockey Centre Level 1 Update

As of today, Tuesday 9 June 2020, there are no longer any restrictions on the THA facility with regards to numbers.

Players, parents and spectators - young and old - are welcome into the facility and there will no longer be separate entries and exits for each of the turfs. Use the main gates as usual.

Please note, the Hockey NZ rule adjustments will still be in place this season. You can view these HERE.

As requested by the government for Alert Level 1, THA will continue to offer contact tracing via iDMe for people to maintain a diary of where they have been. They are in the process of obtaining a QR code that allows scanning by the government's Covid-19 app, so they can offer that option as well. The QR codes will go up at the main gate once they are received.

Instructions for the iDMe app can be found HERE.

Sport NZ has also issued information on Alert Level 1 and their recommendations for players and spectators. You can view these HERE.

There are no restrictions at Alert Level 1, but it is best to stay vigilant when out and about. THA ask you to remember the golden rules at all Alert Levels: wash and dry your hands, cough into your elbow, don’t touch your face; stay home if you’re sick, and get tested for COVID-19 if you have flu-like symptoms.
